At the scheduled time, your transfer will take you to La Aurora International Airport to board your local flight of approximately one hour to Mundo Maya Airport. Upon arrival, your private transportation and guide will be waiting to begin this unforgettable tour.

Tikal: is truly one of the highlights of Central America: awe-inspiring ancient Maya ruins rising above the jungle, with monkeys and toucans often seen in the treetops overhead. As the most important archaeological site of the Maya world, Tikal—whose name means “Place of Voices”—was built during the Classic Maya period. Your guide will introduce you to the scale and layout of the site using a detailed model of the temple and acropolis complex. The tour includes visits to Complexes Q and R, the Central Acropolis, Temple I “Temple of the Great Jaguar,” and Temple II “Temple of the Masks,” with Temple I considered one of the most significant structures within the site. You will also explore the Lost World complex before returning to the Visitor Center in the afternoon for lunch (not included).
