Lake Atitlán
At the scheduled time, your transportation will arrive to begin the journey to Panajachel. Upon arrival, you will board your private boat and cross the breathtaking Lake Atitlán alongside your guide, heading toward San Juan La Laguna. In this charming village, you will visit a local textile cooperative to see the traditional backstrap loom in action and learn about the natural dyeing process using ancestral techniques.
You will also explore a local apiary, where you will learn about the importance of bees, honey production, and other bee-derived products. Stroll along the picturesque Umbrella Street and visit the colorful Kaqasiiwaan Viewpoint, one of the best spots to capture stunning panoramic views of Lake Atitlán. At the end of the visit, you will return to Panajachel to begin the journey back to Antigua Guatemala.
